The Tai Chi and Qigong classes of Univision have been running for more than ten years and are quite famous in Auckland. Courses are offered in the Central Auckland, North Shore, East Auckland and West Auckland. We are honored to invite the graduate student of Qigong and Tai Chi from Beijing Sports University, and the teacher Orlando Garcia Morales of the seventh duan of Chinese Wushu will teach in both Chinese and English.
Why practice Tai Chi and Qigong?
Comprehensive exercise: There are several extremely important characteristics of Taijiquan movements, such as softness, slowness, coherence, arcing (that is, circular movements) and “no movement without movement”, which are absolutely not to be ignored in exercise.
Take into account both inside and outside: When Taijiquan and Qigong are exercising, they also need to pay attention when doing movements, and have no distractions.
The benefits of practicing Tai Chi and Qigong:
It is good for the absorption of minerals in the human body. After the elderly exercise for 5 to 30 minutes, the content of cholesterol in the blood will decrease, and the content of protein in the blood will increase, so that the symptoms of arteriosclerosis will be greatly reduced.
Good for joints and bones It can strengthen the circulation of blood and lymph and reduce congestion in the body. The spiral arc movement of Tai Chi enables all muscle groups and muscle fibers in the whole body to participate in the activities, one by one, making the muscles well-proportioned and plump, flexible and elastic, and increasing the contraction ability.
Accelerate Recovery and Improve Immunity When practicing boxing, pay attention to the movement of qi, move qi with the heart, dredge the meridians, balance yin and yang, qi and blood, so as to improve the self-harmonizing ability of yin and yang, which is what Western medicine calls disease resistance, recovery ability and immunity.
