Activity: Walking/Hiking Event
Location: Mairangi Bay Beach – Castor Bay
On 23 April 2026, the Univision community walk club visited Auckland’s North Shore for a coastal walk from Mairangi Bay Beach to Castor Bay, enjoying a relaxing and refreshing seaside experience.
This route is part of the North Shore Coastal Walk, covering approximately 3km with an easy, flat track suitable for participants of all ages. Along the way, participants enjoyed open ocean views, sandy beaches, and grassy coastal paths, with the opportunity to see Rangitoto Island in the distance on a clear day.
The walk provided a calm and enjoyable environment for conversation, relaxation, and connection with nature. Scenic highlights such as Mairangi Bay’s white sandy beach, open coastal reserves, and the picturesque Castor Bay made the journey both memorable and photogenic.
