Gymnastics Class for ASD Kids, organised by Univision Community Trust in collaboration with Sport Auckland and YMCA Ellerslie. All instructors and staff members have undergone vetting. The teachers have received professional training in child protection policies and specialised training for working with special needs children. The teacher-to-student ratio is 1:3 or 1:4.
Course Schedule:
15 minutes: Instructor-led warm-up games and activities
45 minutes: Instructed play on all gymnastics apparatus
30 minutes: Free play, cool down, and clean up for children and caregivers
Term 4: 12/10/2023-14/12/2023, 9 sessions
Time: Thursday 17:30-19:00
