A unique and creative fashion design program in Auckland, designed especially for children and teenagers who love fashion, creativity, sewing, and artistic expression.
Since launching in 2022, the Little Fashion Designers program has successfully completed multiple themed terms, gradually building a structured and progressive learning pathway for young fashion creators. Each term introduces new design themes and project-based learning experiences, allowing students to continuously develop their creativity, artistic thinking, sewing skills, and fashion design abilities.
The course guides children from two-dimensional design concepts to three-dimensional fashion creation, encouraging them to explore fashion through drawing, fabric design, colour coordination, sewing, pattern making, and garment construction.
The program follows a structured and progressive curriculum, with clear learning objectives and guided creative projects throughout each term.
Students are systematically introduced to fashion design, fabric exploration, pattern making, sewing techniques, and garment construction while developing a themed collection step by step.
While learning professional design processes and practical skills, students are also encouraged to express their own creativity and personal aesthetic, allowing each child to develop unique design styles and original creations within the same themed collection.
