Youth Art Classes
Painting is one of the best ways to inspire children’s imagination and creativity — the essential wings that allow young minds to soar through the world of art. At Univision Community Trust, we offer Creative Painting and Art Skill Development classes tailored to different age groups and artistic interests.
Creative Painting (Ages 5–9)
Each lesson is built around an engaging theme designed to encourage imagination, observation, and creative expression. Through multimedia guidance and fun artistic activities, students explore modelling, line and shape composition, colour coordination, spatial design, and mixed-material creativity. The course helps students develop confidence in visual expression and creative storytelling through art.
Art Skill Development (Ages 10+)
This course focuses on developing drawing techniques and artistic foundations, including spatial perspective, light and shadow, anatomy principles, colour theory, sketching, watercolour, coloured pencil, and marker techniques. Students will also explore comic art, 3D visual art, and famous artwork appreciation. Lessons are designed to support students’ personal artistic interests while strengthening technical skills and creative thinking.
Course Materials
Students are required to prepare their own art materials. A materials list will be provided before class.
