Univision Community Trust in collaboration with GP Sports is offering Adult Cardio Mat Pilates Classes in Epsom, Central Auckland.
This course combines professional exercise principles with a healthy lifestyle approach, integrating mat Pilates and cardio training to provide a safe, effective, and science-based fitness experience for people of all fitness levels. Course Introduction :
Pilates is a form of exercise that helps improve muscle imbalance, strengthen the waist and abdominal core muscles, enhance body shape, and prevent chronic strain injuries.
The goals of Pilates are to improve:
- Core strength
- Flexibility
- Body posture
- Mind-body connection
Exercises include seated, lying, prone, and standing positions, using body weight along with simple equipment such as mats, exercise balls, resistance bands, and light weights.
Cardio Mat Pilates is one of the fundamental forms of Pilates. It focuses mainly on floor-based exercises and does not require large equipment or machines. Participants only need a yoga mat, yoga ball, resistance band, and dumbbells.
